Can Hnst abe please tell us what were the Bush policies that wrecked the economy?

I keep hearing about 8 years of failed policies. Please let us know exactly what were the failed Bush policies.

    He did have failed policies, but none that single-handedly wrecked the economy. Most of his failures were around the war.

    I am a republican, and he was not the main cause but he did aggravate the Problem. The one person most responsible honestly is Clinton though.

    Bush continued the low interest rare policy that Clinton supported that cause the housing boom. this created a glut of houses that help cause the crash. It also help force people to take money from their savings and chase investments causing the boom and bust rollercoaster in the stock market as well as other investments.

    His over reaction to Iraq created debt as well. Granted we should of gone to war, we should not have committed so much resources. His father was wise and just bomb Iraq into submission.

    Paulson was slow to regulate banks as well. On the other hand BUsh himself did try to reregulate things.

    The deficit is made of bush policies (yes, contards - the current deficit)

    The biggest single piece of it, is the bush tax cut (which we borrowed trillions to fund).
