why aren't i losing weight?

i used to be 5'4 and 12 stone, now im just in my bmi at 10 stone. my diet has changed throughout this weight loss, but now i eat less than 500 calories every day, only fruit/salad/veg, natural yoghurt, 'good' protein and water.

I go to the gym every day, doing different things such as long periods of time jogging, crosstrainering etc, or shorter bursts of higher intensity stuff, or fitness dvds or classes. Also, i walk to college every day which takes about half an hour there and half an hour back, and i horse ride about 4 times a week, (for those who dont ride, its not just sat on a horse, especially when you do it to a high standard) and i have a job at a riding school which involves manual labour basically. ive not lost any weight in the last month or so.

I know people are all like 'oh youve got to eat to loose weight' which i do, but technally thats stupid because people who dont eat at all, are still going to loose weight anyway. Also do diet pills work?

I've been dieting and exercising for about two months. The first 5 weeks i lost nothing. in the last 3 weeks I lost 7 pounds. It sucks, but it takes time. You are also eating WAY too few calories. You will eventually lose weight from not eating, but only if you never eat again will it stay off. Your body goes into starvation mode and holds onto your weight as much as possible, that's probably one of the reasons you have no lost any weight now. I'm sorry, but you need to eat more. Losing 2 pounds a week may not sound like much, but that's 8 pounds a month if you stick to it, and that way it WILL stay off. Diet pills are all scams to take your money. There is no easy way to lose weight. Until you accept that, you will only make it harder on yourself. We all know that if you want to lose weight that a healthy lifestyle change is the only way to do it, more exercise, healthier foods, and enough of the foods your body needs to grow and make muscle. The more muscle you have the more fat you burn.

You need to keep at it! Losing weight takes a lot of time and the average person loses about 2 pounds a week from diet and exercise.

swap out brown rice or quinoa yes even the new super food which both add up to about 220 calories per cup for cauliflower or roasted peppers that are only about 30 calories per cup

You're actually eating too little. Your body is actually preserving fat. Eat about 1200 a day and you will burn alot more.
