My 14 year old son has told me he is being bullied?

My 14 year old on has recently told me his friends are calling him names like gay, fat, man slag, slut and generally making his school life a 'living hell'. But this is the problem he has told me that he doesn't want to go to the school about it, I told him to ignore them but he said he tried to and it is distracting him from his work which is why I am even more concerned and there aren't really any other secondary schools around where we live. What should I do about it without telling the school?

Call the police!!!!! Make a report!!!! Im 20 years old and I was bullied in school its not fun!!!!! & to the person who said he needs to grow up! Shut your mouth because you are not in his shoes!!!!! Words hurt badly!!!!!! But MOM do your son a favor stick by him but also make a police report if they keep doing it keep making report, I just answered a question about bullying this stuff is serious and against the law!!!

Don't worry mom keep being strong, I made it out of bullying and now I'm living a good life with. My new born daughter & fiancée!!! People called me fat, ugly and spit water in my face and everything they could think of doing or saying

this may or may not do anything and doesn't really answer the question, but as a 14 year old in high school girl i kind of get it. I'm Asian and my school is full of whites people. he should either a) make jokes about himself so that people don't feel the need to, this is the best strategy in my mind b) find a group of kids to be with that won't make fun of him c) join any clubs and activities he is interested in so that he makes new friends who have the same interest d) find new friends because those guys are mean and there may be a nice person in school willing to be nice which can make a big difference. BCD are very similar

Either talk to the bullies parents or tell the school. Really no other option.

There's nothing you can do about it without informing the school besides homeschool.
