Hey, mutli-fuel stove users! what did you burn in your stove?

I got a new multi-fuel stove this year, because it has more choices of fuel in comparison to wood stove, the manufacture just told me I can burn wood and coal in my stove, I want to know whether there is something else also can be burned in a multi-fuel stove, what did you burn in your stove?

I will greatly appreciate your answer!

I have a wood stove in my living room, but I also use it to dispose of large loads of newspaper and mail - especially bills with account information - and also use it to burn wood pellets. You can stuff in about 20lbs of paper at a time, then come back in about an hour and shove in more paper. There's usually lots of ash to remove after that, though, so I don't do it too often.

There's about a cord or so of aged hardwood at the fenceline ready to go: oak, poplar, etc. Just windfalls, nothing I cut specifically for fuel.

I haven't tried corn yet since feed corn is considerably more expensive than pellets around here, but making a mesh steel basket and loading that with wood pellets has worked very well for me. A 40-lb bag of pellets will go a full day if I don't open the drafts on the stove. Given the disparity of prices, I'll probably never burn corn in it.

My stove isn't designed for coal, but I could probably add a grate that would make it possible. I'm not keen on subjecting my flue to that though, so coal is off the table for me.
