Is a way to raise up my 82 Monte Carlo in the front with out changing the springs?

    Your first answer is dead wrong. There is no room for air shocks or shocks with helper springs to slide up through the lower front A- frames. Also, the center of the lower a-frame is not meant to be a load carrying area for the air shocks.

    When replacing the coil springs with taller ones with a larger wire diameter the upper and lower and lower A-frames will shift the spindle to a severe negative camber situation so the top of the wheels will shift in toward the motor and the bottom of the wheels will be further apart. You'll wind up with severe tire wear on the inner two rows of tire tread and the car will be a bear to steer and brake when going around a corner.

    If you want to lift the car study various companies who make hydraulic lift kits for the best results.

    You can try shocks with helper springs...that may help a bit.. Monroe makes them.

    Although not ideal, you can put spacers between the coils.
