What's you're happy (gay) Coming Out Story?
I've just noticed that there are a lot of questions on Yahoo asking for help about coming out or being very scared about being gay.
So, I thought that it would be nice if some people shared the good points of coming out! Whether they happened right away or down the road. Maybe take away some of the fear for some people struggling to come out.

I have a very happy story, It is a two part story though because first my boyfriend and I planned to come out to my parents as a couple. Then we planned to come out to my friends. His friends already knew we were together so we had a separate "already know your out"party. It's a long story so bear (actually I'm smooth) with me, lol
I knew I was going to come out but the trouble was with coming up with the words. My parents are understanding but still couldn't find the words. He said we can just get caught kissing somehow. That was the plan. We dropped by my parents house just to say hi and they invited us for dinner. They have met before though only as my friend. After dinner my dad went downstairs and my mom did the dishes while me and my boyfriend cleared the table. So while alone in the dining room we made out totally in to each other. The dining room door squeaked open and my mom said sorry guys. We looked at each other, like now what do we do? We kissed for a couple minutes longer and it did build up our confidence. We went into the kitchen where my mom made us desert but she went downstairs then both my mom and dad came up. My dad just came out and said that whatever I do he is still proud of me and accepts the news my mom told him. My mom said that she had seen us a couple times in town as a couple and was happy that I was happy. They asked us if we wanted to spend the night but we wanted a little alone one on one celebration for a successful coming out to my parents.
My coming out to my friends was going to be done the same way, get caught. Our plan was to go in the garage and make out. Everyone knows the garage is the spot to 420 so someone was sure to catch us. That isn't how it happened though. About 3 weeks after coming out to my parents My boyfriend and I forgot to lock the door when we came home from a movie that night. I usually leave it unlocked during the day so friends usually just walked in when they came over and I didn't have to answer the door. It was about 11 pm and we started to get a little frisky in the kitchen then moved to the living room couch then the floor. By that time we were totally naked and doing it. While I was in a reverse cowgirl position just totally going at it, two of my friends barged in with a case of beer, they said oh f#$K let's go dude. I was too heavily into it to just stop so we thought we may as well finish, we got caught anyway. about 10 minutes later my friends call and ask if it is ok to come over now, I told them sure give us about 10 more minutes. So when they came back they promised they'd knock from now on. Three more friends came over and they had already heard the news. My friend said originally we were going to party but now we can call it a coming out party. He said that he came by one night about 3 months ago and saw us kissing on the front porch so they already knew I am gay too.
So I didn't have one negative thing happen with my coming out. My extended family had already been told I came out by Thanksgiving and they all accepted us. Now, if only someone would ask about their 1st gay experience, I love to tell that story.

Am I allowed in with my (bi) coming out story?
My mom hugged me and said, "No big surprise." and then asked, "Did you think I'd have a problem with it?"
My brother is 16, but acts 12 sometimes, (calling everything gay) he said he'd "make all kinds of gay jokes about me now." and I asked what would be the point, they'd probably be true, and he agreed. Recently he's quit using gay as an insult all together without me even asking.
Oh and something great about coming out is, you can actually chime in on things that would reveal your sexuality and make everyone feel awkward without worrying.
Person: Why do girls like so and so?
Me: Because he's hot.
