Will letting the car dry off get my car to work?

Some water got inside my car after driving through some water and right after the incident the lights in the car would come on and when I tried to start the engine it would click and not turn over. 12 hours later it won't click, won't turn on,no lights and jumping the battery didn't help. Do I need a to let it dry more?A new battery? Or something more extensive?

Apparently, water got into the wiring and shorted something out. You can check the fuses if you want, but you may need to take the car to a real mechanic to get it fixed.

It may help, but without knowing anything about your car such as year, make, model, and engine size it's difficult to advise you on the best course of action to take.

it might help it but if it,s a newer car with a computer and the water got into it then letting it dry won,t help it !
