    They are certainly right about television. We used to call it the idiot box when I was a child.

    I reserve judgment over the internet. It isn't just puerile pap presented to be partaken passively by plebs, like the TV, is it?

    No response. I'd listen because deep down I know its right and be thankful that that someone cares enough to tell me instead of being glad that I'm out of their way by burying myself in the tube or net all day...

    They don't have much of a life. So I would say to them, you need to find more things to do besides watching tv and playing on the Internet.
