REAL SOLUTION!
ok i am not going to give you the most common answer because it behaves like quantum.
there are certain phenomenon of light like photoelectric effect, Compton effect, absorption and emission of photon by atom. these phenomenon of light which can be observed practically can be only explained if it is considered to be made up of small discrete particles called photon(quantum). therefor it is quantum. hope you get it, if not try going through the topic photoelectric effect, it will surely make you clear!
good luck!

"All of Quantum Mechanics is contained in the 2-Slit Experiment" - Richard Feynman
Apply the Duck Test:
If it looks like a duck
and
It quacks like a duck
and
it flys like a duck
and
it waddles like a duck
and
it swims like a duck
and
it is seen in the company of things you know to be ducks
Then, its a duck
Translation: If it behaves as a quantum, its a quantum.

It's just an observation of how the university works. Energy comes in packets called quanta or photons.
