Romney being attacked for making a donation to the Red Cross...?

Seriously?? This is a hilarious act of desperation from the Democrats. How low can they go? Honestly....

Look, if the Red Cross did not REALLY want the money, THEY WOULD HAVE DECLINED IT. How dense can liberals get?

Update:

Yes I realize this is a political stunt, but all politicians do this. Also Romney himself did not come out with this information, his aide did.

Regardless, Romney has given more to charity than Obama and Biden combined. Even if you count the donations as a % of their total money Romney still beats them.

nope. We're attackign him for staging that canned food/bottled water drive. the one where he made supporters wait 40 minutes for him to show up so they could get a nice picture .And then it turns out that wasnt even going to the red cross; they're just sending a bus or something to hand the stuff out.

Had he just donated money, liek the red cross wanted, we would not be criticizing. Its that he did it after the event described above that irritates us.

  • Romney should be commended for his donation and his canned vegetable collection for the hurricane victims. Chris Christy should also be commended for helping Obama turn New Jersey into a socialist state.

It's not the donation; It's that it's not what the red cross needs, and he pretended to put his campaign on 'suspension'(my word. remember 4 years ago?) See vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detail...

(now, this may be one view of the story, but cable news has to fill time. Haven't you seen Fox?)

But yeah, it's not a big deal. We SHOULD all - dems and repubs - be asking the BIG question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ahkz6...

Who attacked Romney for his donation? While I do think it was a bit classless For Romney to tell reporters that he donated, I'm glad he gave it. True altruism isn't about taking credit for yourself.

Obama had a chance to give 5 million dollars to any charity of his choice. I am sure its not to late. 5 Million to the victims of Sandy would be great. Lets see those transcripts now.
