So, RnP, what's your favorite genre of music?
Yes, yes, I know, what a cliched question. Well, I'm bored and I'm slightly interested.
Also, hello there. How have you all been? Dandy, I hope.
Anything you would like to share before you start answering my "Bqs'"?
Splendid, lets start.
Bq: What's your favorite artist from your most despised genre of music?
Bq2: What's your current favorite song?
Bq3: What was the last album you bought and/or downloaded?
Bq4: What are your thoughts on Jazz? Any particular artist you listen to frequently?
Bq5: Do you play an instrument?
Bq6: What's your favorite band?
Bq7: If you had the choice to spend a day with your favorite band/artist, would you pass on it just to spend the day with your significant other? On his/her birthday mind you.
Bq8: Do you read?
Bq9: Do you drink coffee?
Thank you for entertaining me with answer all of my questions. Pfft, admit it, you're now content.
Bonus question here.
Do any of you just like to sit down in a clean house, candles going, nice soft music playing in the background with a good book and coffee/tea?
I'm going to do that now, actually. Or tomorrow when I wake up. Who knows?
Well, it's been fun. Have a great day/night you beautiful people.
:)

Well my favourite genre is probably rock or indie rock. And I am very dandy, ta :)
Woah.. Okay
BQ: Well that would be Metal music in general I suppose, I don't despise it exactly I've just never understood the appeal. Favourite artist would probably be Black Sabbath (if that counts) just because I find Ozzy Osbourne very entertaining
BQ2: Either The Masterplan by Oasis, Velociraptor! by Kasabian or The Blinding by Babyshambles. But I'm overall bad at these picking questions because I always remember more that I love whilst writing
BQ3: The Courteeners - St Jude and Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart, although I hardly ever get albums I normally buy individual songs
BQ4: Never really got into jazz but my mam's a massive fan so it's always playing at ours
BQ5: I used to play clarinet, briefly learned piano as a kid but we had to sell ours so I had to give it up. Can play drums and can play a few songs on guitar or base if someone goes through it loads (so I can fill in if someone drops out before a concert but can't compose and find it very hard to learn new stuff).
BQ6: Got too many really to pick one, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, The Fratellis, Marina and the Diamonds, The Courteeners, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Pulp, The Kinks, Kaiser Chiefs, Guns N Roses, David Bowie etc.
BQ7: I wouldn't really want to spend the day with any of my favourite bands or artists. I like their music, I don't know them or much about them. So I wouldn't really see the point of meeting them beyond telling them how much I love their music and admire their talent. I'd rather go to a concert than have tea with them
BQ8: Yep! Just re-read all my old Terry Pratchett books and currently considering going on a Douglas Adams marathon.
BQ9: Nah never saw the point, much prefer tea

My favourite genre would probably be punk rock or psychedelic rock
I've been doing pretty well. Just got a ticket for a concert tomorrow night. How have you been?
BQ: Chemical Brothers
BQ2: The Headmaster Ritual - The Smiths
BQ3: I got 50 Words For Snow by Kate Bush on CD
BQ4: I like it a lot. My favourite jazz artists would be John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Billie Holiday and Django Reinhardt
BQ5: I'm not very good at playing at them but I have a guitar, harmonica and keyboard
BQ6: The Stone Roses
BQ7: I don't have a significant other at the moment but if I did I might actually choose to spend the day with my favourite artist as it would probably be the only opportunity I would ever get to do it.
BQ8: Yeah, I like reading
BQ9: Nope, don't like it all. I do drink tea though
Bonus question: I've never done that but it sounds nice and relaxing.

As far as a a single genre, hip hop would have to take the crown because there's so much I love in the genre. I do like rock more, because there are several sub-genres I love, but it would be hard for me to say what I like the most...maybe art rock.
BQ: I pretty much like all genres, but I can't say I care for much country I suppose... I guess if you'd consider Iron & Wine country based on some of the twangy elements in his music, then him for sure.
BQ2: XXX, Adderall Admiral or Die Like A Rockstar, all by Danny Brown
BQ3: I just torrented the discography of Summoning
BQ4: I really like jazz, but I can't really listen to it for extended periods of time currently. The artists I like the most and enjoy to listen to most frequently would be John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Eric Dolphy, Charles Mingus and Wayne Shorter
BQ5:I'm learning guitar and I've played drums sporadically for about 6 years.
BQ6: Radiohead or Nirvana (tbh I think I reserve the right to be generic, I've heard enough music to say so I like to think)
BQ7: Nah, I've never had a significant other and maybe never will, if I could meet and spend the day with Nick Drake, I'd feel ecstatic. Too bad he's not alive and I'll never have that chance. But otherwise, assuming I did have a significant other, I'd still probably choose the single day with my favorite artist.
BQ8: Yeah I just read this question
BQ9: I do
I do actually, but I never really can make the dedication to read.

Progressive Rock.
BQ: Travis Berker
BQ2: Spock's Beard - Devil's Got My Throat
BQ3: Genesis - Nursery Cryme
BQ4: I love Jazz as it has influenced many of my favourite bands (Jethro Tull etc)
BQ5: Piano
BQ6: Anything Neal Morse has contributed to.
BQ7: No. I would explain the situation to her. If she really was my significant other, she'd understand and let me see them. Or I'd take her with me.
BQ8: Everyone reads. I'm not a huge fan though.
BQ9: Nope.
Bonus BQ: Yes. Minus the coffee/tea.

Post-hardcore and related things, but lately i've been listening to more of other things so that's not my favorite by quite as much (sorry if that sentence made no sense, i really tried but i'm tired and can't sleep so it may be screwy)
I would like to share coffee b/c i have that
BQ2: So This is Our Home - I Would Set Myself on Fire For You
BQ3: Neighbors - Now, Now
BQ4: Wes is awesome
BQ5: I used to play piano. I really want to relearn that, but, i have neither a piano nor free time.
BQ6: Senses Fail
BQ7: (assuming i have a significant other so this question makes sense) I would choose to spend it with my significant other. He'd have to mean a lot to me to be my significant other, and it's his birthday... I will always have my music to listen to and i'd definitely want to make him happy b/c i really love to see the people i care about be happy. As much as i'd like the other option, no.
BQ8: I read a ton when i can. I'll have a three say weekend soonish and i want to read a book during that time, or at least most of one. Idk. I just miss reading.
BQ9: Confused pandas need coffee
Okay, okay, i admit it o) [that's a cyclops smiley b/c why not?]
One of the best moments one can have, right there :) Especially if the candles smell really nice.
Goodnight :)

It's been changing between psychedelic rock and post-rock for a while now. Now it's post-rock.
I have been okay

BQ2: Mooncake - Rain In The Ashtray
BQ3: bought: The Warlocks - Heavy Deavy Skull Lover
dowloaded: The Entrance Band - Latitudes
BQ4: I like jazz. I listen to Mouse On The Keys pretty regularly, but they're more post-jazz.
BQ5: Skin flute
BQ6: Godspeed You! Black Emperor
BQ7: I guess I'd spend it with my favorite band, as I don't have a significant other, but I doubt either option would be pleasant.
BQ8: I do but I don't enjoy it.
BQ9: No
Bonus question here: No

Metal
bq: We Came As Romans (generally don't care much for (new) metalcore, but I dig this one)
bq2: I don't have one, I listen to way too much stuff to have a favorite song.
bq3: I just bought the new Between the Buried and Me and The HAARP Machine yesterday.
bq4: It's great music, but it doesn't really click for me, I like Pat Metheny though, and T.R.A.M, and a few jazzy metal/rock bands like Shining and Chrome Hoof.
bq5: I played piano in highschool, but I haven't really touched an instrument since then, I do make tunes in FL studio though, which I started doing a few years ago.
bq6: for a long time it was Opeth, (since around 2000) but now I don't really have a favorite.
bq7: I'm single, so this fictional g/f would have to be pretty rad to pass up on that.
bq8: not a lot.
bq9: love coffee.
bonus q: no but maybe I should try it.
