Can you smoke weed after getting a bypass done in your foot?

Three and half months ago I was in a pretty major accident and my foot and leg suffered a lot of trauma. It was an alcohol related accident. Besides the two major broken bones, i had a bypass done in my foot to restore blood flow, and then later had it ligated because there was actually too much bloodflow. I know that smoking cigarettes is no good for your heart and arteries and i was just wondering if smoking weed is alright to do? I smoke weed occassionally and im just wondering if i can pick it up again, it wouldnt hurt my pain and stress and stuff as well. I just dont wanna to more damage to my foot. So do you think its safe to smoke weed, or should i wait it out longer? Or is it not safe now in general?
