I have a few questions for Minecraft Multiplayer as an OP.
Can I set the world so no player can destroy blocks?
Can I set a player as only a viewer? Someone who cannot attack others.

You can turn a player into adventure mode by typing /gamemode (player name) 2 which I am pretty sure disables the players ability to break blocks.
You are also able to turn PvP (Player vs Player) off using some command
You can spawn monsters and the easiest way I believe is to turn yourself into creative mode and go to the miscellaneous section which I am pretty sure is where the mob eggs should be and from there, you can select the mob egg of your choice.
Hope this helps.

Single participant -the game world has been acknowledged at being eight occasions better than the Earth itself. The sport will create the map in giant chunks as you get toward a further unloaded chunk. Clearly, what you can not see it doesn't load. However while you move and extra field opens up, it stays within the save file. There is a designated point where the retailer file may just get so huge that your computer can now not operate it...However that may take a long time to do. -You mine for them. That's the mystique of the sport. You want diamonds? Dig into the earth, create mine shafts, or explore in already created underground tunnels. -No, single player and multiplayer are two separate situations. Your inventory does no longer port over while you go surfing. Most people who play multiplayer relatively handiest play singleplayer when their multiplayer server is down. I have never touched my singleplayer save file in months. Multiplayer -your entire questions depend on the rules and guidelines of the server you join. There are hundreds and hundreds of 1000s of free servers to join...Just a subject of which one you adore fine. The Minecraft community is developing.

I think you can stop the players from destroying blocks by turning the gamemode to adventure mode.
And you can stop the players slaying each other by turning of PvP mode off in your server properties text document.
And to spawn monsters you can type in /(YourName) give (ID of Monster Egg).

I don't believe you make 1 person not able to hit others, but you can turn PVP (player versus player) off so no one can hit each other. Just go to your server folder and open up the properties file and turn off PVP.
