can a hurricane occur during winter

only if it started from the other side of the world and traveling towards our side, like states thats near new york.?

    If winter is defined as the coldest three months -- December...January...February -- then yes...hurricanes can and have occurred during the winter season.

    Yes, tropical storms and hurricanes from the 2005 hurricane season actually continued al the way into early January of 2006.

    Surely lol. Summer is between June - Sept. Wintry weather could be from Nov - Jan. Folks might feel i am loopy for what i simply said considering that to preferred perception Barbados does not have seasons however heres my common sense : The temp rises about 6 - 8 degree's greater than whenever throughout the yr around those months (jun - sept). For illustration todays temp used to be 36C prolly spiked to about 37C throughout "winter" the temp max is prolly 29C - 32C.
