I have a Honda GX390 13hp that powers a pressure washer. I just rebuilt the carb cause it was full of crud.?

Now I find the washer really uses a lot of gas. I do not smell gas and nothing is leaking. The throttle lever also seems less responsive. I cannot seem to bring it to idle before shutting down. I have rebuilt more than a dozen engines but never a Honda. I did have to adjust the unloader on the exhaust valve after I could not pull the cord to turn the engine over. It is 5 years old and has around 25 hours. I did tear the carb down again but everything was OK. Thanks!
