Is there a way in which I can partition/reassign my disk so that I can increase my ram?

I was wondering if it is possible, from my desktop, to partition my MacBook Pro's hardrive so that I can have a greater RAM output. Is there a software that can help me reassign some data? Or will I have to go out and buy this crazy expensive hardware?

In short, no. Ram is physical hardware which must be purchased separately from the disk.

Ram and disk space are not the same. You can indeed increase the swap size on your disk, but that will not necessarily increase performance; certainly not as much as real ram will.

Ram is a physical circuit comprised of volatile memory cells. The disk is non-volatile magnetic storage.
