I don't agree or disagree with the thought that it COULD be your hard drive, but understand this...

A computer beeps as a warning that something is askew or failed. It's quite possible that you may only have something unseated or loose.

    So give this a try.

    1. Make sure the power switch is off

    2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the computer

    3. Hold the "ON" button in for 10 seconds. This will discharge all of the components on the Motherboard.

    4. Remove the side panel. Normally it's the left panel when you are facing the pc.

    5. Make sure any/all circuit board assemblies (sound card; video card; etc.) are all seated properly by pushing straight down on them to ensure they are fully seated.

    6. Do the same seating process with your RAM sticks.

    7. Make sure any connectors that you see are fully seated on the Motherboard, and fully pushed in to the hard drive, and CD/DVD drive(s).

    8. Make sure all connections on the back panel of the computer are fully seated and/or screwed in.

Once you do all of this, put the side panel back on; replace the power cord on the rear panel; turn the computer on.

Hopefully, your pc will boot up without and beep type error messages. If it doesn't then you'll most likely need some tech help from someone that knows computers and how they operate.

    Hi,

I had the same problem and I found out that my main hardrives was scratched and damaged so basically your computer won't run without a hardrives or I't could be that your processor is to hot so make sure your fan Is directly fitted and make sure all wires are plugged in inside

    Hope this helps
