How would I take up hunting?
I have wanted to take up hunting for a while now. I am 16 and my parents have never really been hunters, but they said that I could hunt If I wanted. I know I have to take the hunter's safety course course and all, but I have a few questions and I don't really know anyone that hunts. What do you do after you kill the deer, paperwork wise. I have herd the term tag thrown around and wanted to ask. Btw I live in florida if that makes a difference in the answer. Another question I have is, once I have my hunter's safety certificate, hunting license, and deer license, is that it, am i good to hunt? I know that I could probably find these answers on line or what ever, but I really didn't feel like searching the internet for them. Your answers are appreciated.

You have to get your hunting licence depending on what your hunting. Birds or bigger game. Both you have to get different licenses for, if you do not get get either of these then you are poaching. You can ask from wal mart to various place on how to get them. Good luck and have a fun time hunting, I sure do.

you have to get a tag per animal you kill plus an overall hunting license, you field dress the animal after the kill, then take it to a tag station.
