i know an online pass allows you to play online but whats a season pass?

    Some downloadable games have "episodes" that are released periodically. like the game The Walking Dead. You can either pay for each episode as it is released, at 5.99 or whatever the price is; or you can buy a season pass for 15 which allows you access to all the episodes when they are released

    The season pass allows you to download DLC as it becomes available and since you purchased season pass, you won't have to pay for the DLC separately ! You'll be able to access and download all content as it becomes available !
