I guess:
(6-x)/((2+x)(6+x)) = 1/3
6 - x = (x^2 + 8*x + 12)/3
18 - 3*x - x^2 - 8*x - 12 = 0
- x^2 - 11*x + 6 = 0
x^2 + 11*x - 6 = 0
x1 = - 11/2 + (1/2)*sqrt(145), x2 = - 11/2 - (1/2)*sqrt(145)
