Books in Nazi Germany?

Does anybody know how many books were in circulation at any one time in Nazi Germany (1933-1945), and compare it to other countries from the time?

    I think there is a list of titles but I will have to see if I can find this list. And then I would have to find list of titles from other countries which will be more difficult as I do not think they keep records like this, mostly not available to people to look up but maybe. I will try and write back if I can.
