Survey: What would be a reason you have blocked a Y/A user?

I block if they connect to me and I read some of their Q&A and it's troll-ish/ obnoxious.

But some people pull the trigger really fast on blocking and it's not your fault. Vega the Spaniard has me blocked on two of my accounts and I didn't do anything to the guy.

And one guy in the football section started emailing everybody and telling them that I was a reporter troll and they started actually making threats to me. Whatever!!!!!

I was actually blocked by a user on here a while back. When I finally got in contact with him, it turned out to be a misunderstanding. He read to much into an answer to one of his questions. We made peace, he unblocked me and now everything is good. I think that sometimes people jump the gun so to speak when it comes to blocking people. At the very least, this girl should've given you a reason as to why she was blocking you.

I block people who are offensive and rude. As for some on here who have answered, funny they should make comments about "twisting words" since they were the ones doing so and butting into personal relationships, and worst yet, continued to do so AFTER they were repeatedly asked to mind their own business, but they weren't mature enough to do so.

I don't have time for silly games, as I've never had any issues with any of my contacts... they can all vouch that I am friendly and kind, no drama here.. but more importantly, I mind my OWN business, some people just don't get it.

I haven't blocked anyone but I have been blocked. Sometimes just disagreeing with a person gets you blocked. Hell, I corrected someone's spelling, which completely changed the questions & was blocked.

No big deal.

I have blocked people for two reasons.

1. They blocked me first for no reason. Guess they did not like my face.

2. I have blocked a couple of users for being almost vulgar or verbally attacking other users when Yahoo did not suspend their account after being reported.

Some do it out of retaliation I don't have anyone blocked nor have I ever blocked anyone . Someone has an issue with me so be it they have something to say please email or IM me my mail is open as well funny thing is I never get any .

I quit blocking people because the ones I do block end up getting their account deleted.

I block people for a good reason when:

They have blocked me first,

They are rude to me or my contacts...also if they twist my words,

If I find out someone has multiple accounts which is mostley this crazy bonkers guy...,

If they are reporters,

Spelling nazis,

Spammers.

I block for these reasons..

totally perverted answers to my questions, rude and nasty to any other members... I don't appreciate it being done to anyone, harassing me or others and any of the multiple accounts associated to people who cause negativity in these ways.

I'll block somebody if they're trolling or just being a jerk on here. No need for me to have a more negative experience on this site.

I have never blocked anyone, and to my knowledge no one has blocked me. I try my best to keep things friendly and on good terms with everyone. However, the one thing that would cause me to block someone is if they sent me hate mail due to my political or religious preferences. I respect you and your opinions, and you respect me and mine.
