Romney replaced into easily an somewhat good governor for Massachusetts. Had he run for a 2d time period, he ought to have positively beaten Deval "Obama-Lite" Patrick. Romney did not run for a 2d time period because he needed to run for president and did not favor to leave the governor's workplace halfway through his time period as many modern governors had performed. yet Massachusetts is between the most liberal, professional-Democrat states interior the union. There are, per chance, 5 actually Republicans interior the state (i'm merely exaggerating somewhat). Obama also has an aunt who lives in Massachusetts illegally and has effectively fought off deportation because of who she is. that is no longer a wonder that Romney isn't prevailing Massachusetts. i'd imagine he's likewise having worry in Rhode Island and Connecticut, as those are also liberal bastions in New England. ============================ only for the list, Romney's approval ratings in Massachusetts were interior the mid-50s in 2006; they dropped fairly after he presented he doesn't run for a 2d time period.

The people of Massachusetts know what a phony he is.
He lost Michigan too -- his home state where his father was governor.
I'm not surprised with the election results. The American people can't be bought.

Easy, when Governor he acted like a Democrat, and when candidate he acted like a Republican.
Anyhow since '60 Massachusetts has only voted Republican twice, in '80 and '84 an that was for Ronald Reagan.

yes I am very surprised. Any candidate who loses his home state does not deserve to win the election.
