What time is it in Alberta if the commercial for a tv show says 8/7 central? I want to watch the new xfactor usa

It'd probably be on at 8.
When they say 8/7 Central, they usually mean it's 8 o'clock everywhere (Pacific, Mountain, Eastern) and 7:00 Central.

If it is a live broadcast it is six o'clock
But often the show is taped for showing in Alberta and BC at a later time If that happens then it is usually 8 in Alberta and then 7 for BC but it could be anything sorry not a good answer.
If you look at the station website or your cable company site they have a schedule of programs in local times.
