how to install Ubuntu to USB disk without DVD driver?

Hi,

I would like to ask how to install Ubuntu in windows without CD /DVD driver

I run windows 7

my computer can boot with USB disk

and is there lite / light version of Ubuntu cos I will use it in case my windows fails to boot

and how to install device drivers in ubuntu?I have a pc which is installed Windows in but I dont have any driver cd

    well ubuntu is always free

    also you can use unetbootin or install it like a windows program (very glitchy from my experiences)

    I think if you download and install the CD /DVD driver, your work will be easier. You can google to find "DGTSoft Drivers Update Utility" and click into the official website page to download and install. It can update your drivers automatically. It knows which drivers are compatible with your computer. Google for it to try now.
