How can i get out of Sprint's service without having to pay early termination fee?
So last December i switched over from ATT to Sprint's network because of they're unlimited plan on their data (i currently have the iphone 4S) and what a mistake that was. Their service is terrible, i'm at the point that i can barely do anything while i'm out and about because it's so slow, i have to wait until im connected to a wifi signal. I can't use youtube outside a wifi signal, a 4 minute video will literaly take 20 minutes to watch between the buffering and the playing, even the navigation is slow. I'm not due for my upgrade until next August 2013, but i can't wait that long. I'd rather pay more or get less per plan at another provider. Is there any way to get out of my plan without having to pay the early termination fee? I haven't called them yet about the issues ive been having because i think i'd lose it over the phone. Any help? Thanks!

About the only way to get out of your Sprint contract without getting the ETF hammer is to move to an area where there is absolutely no Sprint coverage near by, which is basically the boonies in the Midwest, such as ND, SD, MT.
It would help to know whereabouts you live at to provide better directions as where to move to.
There is no guarantee of data speed in the contract (in fact the Terms and Conditions state as such for ALL carriers that there is no guarantee of data speed on their network, despite what the flashy ads say), so complaining about data speeds will likely go nowhere insofar as trying to get out without the ETF.

Cancel and worry about the fees later. get you a new phone and service and wait for the collection agency letters from Sprint for the $200. I never got any. =)

I worked in radio shack, and it is very hard to get out of the contract..normally you had 30 days to try it and if you didnt like it, you can stop the service..the fee is 250.00 ,,i suggest just call them and tell them,if they can cut the fee in half or no fee, just be honest tell them, its terrible..its better to just pay the fee then continue paying something that you dont like..lots of luck..
