Can Urinary Tract Infection medicine make your pee dark orange?

I felt like I was maybe developing UTI this morning so I took two pills for it. My urine just now was dark orange. I can't decide if it was because of blood in my urine or the medicine? Any help?

    Which medication have you taken? If it was anything with Phenazopyradine as the active ingredient then this is common. IT occurs in almost 100% of those who take it.

    Pyridium will make your urine ornage - and it is NOT an antibiotic. It has no antibacterial effect at all.,

    If you were given pyridium, yes, you will pee orange.
