Can asexuals be biromantic?
I recently saw this question, considered answered, but I feel the answer was insufficient.
To answer this question, as a biromantic asexual, the answer is yes. Yes, we can masturbate. Yes, we can fall in love. Yes, we can have sex. The difference is we are not ruled by our sexual responses. We are not necessarily "turned on" by sexual arousal. We don't necessarily get "warm fuzzies" around people. But, we are human. OK?
To answer Jon: Physical stimulation usually works. And, asexuals still feel the emotion of love, so they will have sex with someone they love, and they will enjoy feelings of intimacy with that person.
To agree with Andi: It's been about 8 years since I've had sex, and it was 8 years ago when I first had sex, so yes, you are correct. The only reason I was having sex in the first place was because I wanted a child, not because I was interested in the sex.
I think my friend is strange because she can't stand near a guy she's attracted to without feeling uncomfortably warm. She thinks I am strange because I can take it or leave it, and I'm not constantly seeking a guy or even interested in finding a guy.

I think it should be added that we CAN have sex, but often don't. Just because we're in love, doesn't mean we want to have sex.
Also, people should be made aware of the 'colors' of asexuality. such as Grey-A.

Well since you are being so helpful, I actually have a question. Yes you have sex, but how does that work? I assume that asexual males can still get erections, and asexual females can still get "wet"? However, if you don't get turned on, how does that work?
Edit: okay thanks.
