how do i uninstall windows 8?
i recently installed windows 8 i tried uninstalling it with the disc but it didnt give me the option, i tried control pannel uninstall program but i couldnt find windows 8 listed, i tried system restore it wasnt any help either. im at a loss what do i do.

You won't find any uninstall program for an OS. The only way to remove it is by formatting the hard drive (well not really necessary), and installing another OS over the partition that Windows 8 is located.
You will need a Windows installer disc to boot from and install it over Windows 8.

Win 8 is an Operating System - NOT a program that can be uninstalled via Control Panel.
You'll need to 'overwrite' Win 8 with another Operating System e.g. Win 7 or Vista.
Use your back up files, or disk of the original OS to reinstall it.

That article describes the process but it's a lot of work. It would be easier to backup your files and reinstall 7.
