She has kids and I don't really deserve her.?

Question

I'm 35, male single for the last three years.  I'm bankrupt and was married young divorced at 24.  Then with a woman who mentally and physically abusive.  I grew up being told I'm worthless and really kinda feel like I am.  I have sever depression but I have a good job.  When I separated with my last GF (the abusive one) she put me through hell.  Made fake accusation I almost lost my job.  Destroyed me financially.  So I just meet this woman who is super nice and I'm very attracted to her.  She is single and has two children. I feel like she is to good for me and I can't get hurt again.  I won't hurt her but I was told by most of the people I have been close to that I ruin life's. she has two kids.   Should I just walk away to avoid hurting anyone or getting hurt.  I kinda feel like I should just be alone because I don't deserve to be with anyone.

Depends. If you're going to be all mopey and feel sorry for yourself, please don't do it around happy little kids. You want to make a fresh start and be a positive force in life, forget your past and move on.

Unless you STILL have money issues, I would give it a chance and lay enough information on the "table of life" so that she knows some of your concerns and a little of your past.  CLEARLY, a woman like this, however, would NOT deserve a fiscally irresponsible person - IF, you have been - so remember that guy - she has TWO CHILDREN who come first with her and that means in support as well - so unless you're ready to assume some real and viable change in yourself?

Leave her alone.  Only YOU know the truth of what I'm saying here...No others.
