Customer complained... i have to have an investigation?
Ive recently had an investigation at work because a customer made a complaint about me. The accusations made were ridiculous and i certainly did not do them, the only reason i can think of for the complaint was that it was done completely maliciously. As i denied the accusation they have to investigate further, what are the next steps usually taken? will they check cctv or interview people working the same shift as me? i hope they do because then ill be proved right! also is there any way i could loose my job over this? even though the accusations are false? many thanks x

You may lose your job if found guilty. Seeing that's my people how ever harshly file false complaints on people I would play it cool and calm and tell your side of the situation. A woman tried to do this to a police officer saying the he sexually touched her when he asked her to get out if the car. There was a big investigation. But little did the woman know there was a cam on the patrol car and it clearly showed the police officer following standerd procedure and had not even asked the woman to step out of her car. He did nothing wrong only gave her a ticket which was why she filed the complaint against the officer. Don't worry about it. Just play it cool. Let your colleges know the situation so they can back you up and it will all workout.
