2007 Honda Civic Si Rims fit on a 2006 Honda Civic EX?

Will 2007 Honda Civic Si Rims fit on a 2006 Honda Civic EX? I found some forums online that mentioned 3mm spacers would be needed so the rim would not rub the caliper? Are spacers safe to use? Anyone else done this...?

    Yes, you need spacers. Yes, they are safe. Only 06-08 civics had the fitment issue. 09-11 didn't have any issues and didn't need spacers.
