Hot Wheels: Collection them but keep them sealed or open them?
I own so many that are opened and in a caring case, but the other I helped a neighbor clean out his basement and came across a box full of Hot Wheels and he gave them to me, but the cases are bent, ripped and had some water damage and I do want to keep them but wondering do I open them or not. I do but my friend don't and sell them.
I do want to keep them, but should I open them or keep them as is. I doubt they will go for anything.

Unless you plan on playing with them I would keep them in the case. If it turns out it doesn't matter you can always take them out of the case later, but if you do need the case, you'll kick yourself for opening them.

I think you should keep them in the original case, You would be surprised how much you can get for collector cars in its original casing wither it is damaged or not, the collector always looks for all the original stuff including the box.
