Anyone else see Dwight leaving afterwards?

The Lakers only seem to be setting up a short term team. Kobe and Nash only have about two years in them, and from what i heard Phil Jackson wants just a 2 year deal. Why would Dwight stay any longer if they arent building a championship team but with a future though? Anyone think he might leave after this season?

Of course, Howard just wants to win a title and be in a good, championship worthy team. I wouldn't blame him if he left the Lakers after this season.

Lakers have proven to be able to build a championship contending team. Why would he leave? And go where? The Mavericks? They have a couple of young guys in collison and mayo but after that they're older than the Lakers. The Lakers will have in excess of 100 million + cap space after Kobe, Nash, and Pau retire, by that time they would have won at least ONE championship. Not to mention they signed a 2 billion dollar deal with TWC further increasing their monetary capabilities so as long as they adhere to the CBA rules.

Dwight would stay because he sees how Mitch Kupchak is able to put together a team that can compete. I dare you to name any other GM that has been able to CONSISTENTLY put together championship squads like the Laker GM.

THAT Dwight has on his wish list as a team to play for.

    Brooklyn? I don't think so.

Mavericks? LOL, when Dirk leaves the Mavs are screwed. Mark Cuban has only been as good a GM as Dirk's been on that team=p

    SO in short

Lakers = Hollywood. Endorsement opportunities. Top Notch GM that has delivered 5 titles in the past 12 years, more than any other team in that span. They can offer Dwight Howard WAY more money than ANY other team because they own his Bird rights. And Dwight has lived in L.A even before becoming a Laker. He loves L.A. And he'll tell you that himself.

most lakers contracs end in 2 years because the lakers will have alot of cap space to get top free agents to surround Howard. Also, i think howard wont leave because he know the lakers have good management and are not scared to spend money to build a championship team

It's all on the Lakers' team chemistry and work ethic. Howard might think it was a good idea for him to join the Lakers, but if they can't at least have a winning season and good teammate chemistry, then he might consider leaving.

No, do not be so gullible. Why would they out of the blue fire an actor like Rainn Wilson who rivaled Steve Carell as one of the vital widespread, not to point out marketable, characters on the whole exhibit? The one character leaving is me, seeing that after the non-discontinue suck-fest that has been the third season of the once-high-quality "workplace," I are not able to take anymore of the self-mutilation that is a Thursday night at eight:30 on NBC. This show is useless.

Only way he would switch is if a decent team offers him a lot of money (like $25 million)

Not yet. His dream was to become a Laker. But it is likely.

Source(s): Want to know why Lebron wears the #6? it's because he is the 6th victim for Kobe's 6th ring. Ironically We Will. Miami Heat Fan IQ happens to be 6 and thinks Lebron will get 6 rings LOL.
