Why is it so hard to play a game online without any hackers?

They're no life losers who play video games all day and have nothing better to do. They do it for ''fun''. Now those people are TRUE nerds, not someone who studies and does great in school. Nerds and geeks are hackers.

The reason why they're hackers on any console is because they get thrills and it gives them power over everyone, for example if you're playing Mw2 and if you say to the hacker I will report you they will de-rank you etc. As well as Glitching ain't really part of hacking due to the fact that "It's a bug in the game itself" Ermm...If you're on the xbox you can submit a player review and it will make the chances of you meeting up again slim, as for the PC and Ps3 i don't think there is that option. Lastly It depends on what console you're going on about for example If you're on the Ps3 and people's have by passed the updates from 3.55 onwards then they can easily make another account. The same goes with the xbox because they have a J-Tagged xbox which will infect the main xbox thus giving them mods.

Overall hackers are just part of playing an online game. Some games have better protection services than others but every games has them. People hack because they want to win or want to have end game items without having to work for it. It gives them a sense of power. The only way to make them unable to make a new account is an ip ban, but hackers know how to change ips.

Because nobody likes to lose so they have to cheat their way to the top.

You think games is the only place? Wrong. Yahoo answers also have cheaters. Ever wonder why you don't see them answering questions in this category even though they have thousands of best answers? It's because they wait until a question is about to expire then answer it. Then they vote their answer as best answer.

Did you consider that maybe they aren't hacking, but instead they are just simply better than you?
