How do I answer this physics problem based on heat?

How much heat must be added to 260 grams of water at 100 degrees Celsius to convert it to steam at 100 degrees celsius given that the latent heat of vaporization for water is 2.3x10^6 J/kg

I know the formula for heat is

Q= m*c*change in temp but the latent heat throws me off.

    For this problem, use this formula that you were given: Q = m*Lv, where "m" is the mass and "Lv" is the latent heat of vaporization. Read the problem, and you will see that the water is *****vaporizing***** into steam. This means that for this state change you must use the equation above that has the latent heat of vaporization in it. Also, convert the mass of water to 0.260 kg, because the latent heat of vaporization you are using is in kilograms.

    Q = (0.260 kg)(2.3x10^6 J/kg) = 598000 J

    Since the answer has a lot of numbers, let's make it smaller by converting joules into kilo joules:

    598000 J = 598 kJ.

    Therefore, 598 kJ of heat must be added.
