Do "Liberals" in the United States appreciate our military?

Cindy, a "true" liberal would not support the military. Because a liberal believes that if you get rid of guns everyone can live peacefully. With that being said there are moderate liberals who believe some of the liberal rhetoric, but have enough common sense to understand that if you get rid of your guns, another country with guns will take over. These liberals normally appreciate the military and many even serve. There are many patriotic liberals. You are probably thing the far left (extreme liberal) and who knows what they think?

yes they do, its just like any extremes though.. some people hate the military, but most people do support the troops which no matter what war we are in i believe is the key to the USA... why do liberals hate the military? because its taking money away from social programs like welfare and food stamps, which in turn those "liberals" ain't liberals but socialists.

I've never seen or met a self proclaimed liberal support them. Only seen them verbal assault them or spit on them in real life. All the conservatives and moderates seem to support them though.

I can't speak for liberals, but as an independent who opposes the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc etc etc I support our military no matter what; it is our idiotic Congress I do not appreciate.
