cheap things to make my truck faster?

i have a 2000 GMC Sonoma. 2.2 liter 2wd. i wanna make it faster but i dont have alotta money. ideas?

    Power costs money...there is no getting around that. Besides, even if you did have the cash, you're still dealing with a 4 cylinder truck. The 2.2 is not exactly known to have a lot of hidden potential in it.

    Start with exhaust headers around $150

    Save up more money first, then worry about souping up your truck.
