Does Ritalin really help ADD/ADHD?

Please don't copy some info off a page and paste it here. I'm looking for personal experience.

    It does for some and not for others.

    For me, t effected my concentration levels immeditatly. For others, just a dry mouth. But i dont recommend it for children to addiction and psychological pain of identity.

    It didn't help my daughter. She wad switched to Adderall and did wonderful on it.
