If you have already replaced the light bulb and it still does not work, chances are that the door switch is either broken or one of its wires has come off of it. Often times one can pull the switch assembly out of its little hole in the door jamb with a little bother and service it.

BY ALL MEANS, REMEMBER TO UNPLUG THE REFRIGERATOR before attempting to service the door switch!

Right, sometimes the little switch mechanism can become reversed.

Sometimes the little switch mechanism can become reversed. Maybe the light is coming on when the door is closed.

You'd need to visit a specialist electrical retailer for a replacement bulb, try browsing through the Yellow pages phone directory. Caz.
