Mitt Romney claims Bill Clinton called him up and told him he thought Hurricane Sandy cost him the race?

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/politics/articl...

Do you think Bill actually said that to him or did Mitt just make that up?

Update:

For the record: The hurricane and Christie's photo-op did make Obama look heroic and bipartisan.........

but: It did NOT cost Mitt the election by any means.

The outcome would have been the same regardless.

Update 2:

Also - the hurricane reduced voter turnout which may have helped Romney in some ways.

lower turnout tends to help conservatives more-so than liberals.

No. it truly is a fave meme to target to justify why Romney lost. the reality is that Romney's momentum and Obama's lead happened beforehand Sandy. Republicans, which incorporates Billo, are in denial about why Romney lost, only as they were in denial about Romney's possibilities of prevailing.

Well, if he did Bill was being much too kind but they are not exactly friends since Clinton campaigned for Obama so it is doubtful. He could have said you ran a lousy campaign and your vp choice sucked. Plus, you are an idiot to allow yourself to get caught on tape trashing 47% of the voters. Now, that is the truth.

Chris Matthews said the same thing. In fact he said that he was glad Sandy happened because it won the election for Obama. Any president would have visited. It was nothing special and Obama did nothing special at all but I don't believe Romney would lie about it. Romney, if you would bother to do any research, is really a very special person.

He probably said that. What's so horrible about saying that? Hurricane Sandy did affect the race, but we'll never know for sure if Romney would've won if it weren't for the Hurricane.

Of course, I believe everything on the internet
