I need a new hobby, please help:)?

So i am a girl 14 yrs old and i live in Cyprus. I have tried a lot of things like ballet, jazz, latin and modern dance. I also tried tennis and guitar, but i didn't like them very much. I am not so good at sports, but i like jogging and swimming, that's how i keep fit. I'd like to find a new hobby and meet new people. Some things i like and might be useful are cooking (food, cakes, sweets, etc), jogging, reading articles/ texts/ books about psychology, repairing or building things. I also enjoy painting on canvas, camping and watching action and comedy series (Criminal Minds, How I met your mother, White Collar, etc). I DON'T like reading books, studying, and doing boring things. My favorite movies are "Nanny McPhee", "Lord of the rings", "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Cinema Paradiso". I am a little shy, but I like making new friends.

That's about me! Can you tell me your ideas for a new hobby? Thank you :)

Update:

I forgot to tell that i also like cycling, hiking, climbing and walks in the woods or the mountains :)

Anastasoula, the key-word here is groups. The internet, including Facebook, give us a lot of opportunities to practice our hobbies with company. I don't mean of course the groups where there is a lot of talk and nothing happens. I happen two know two very active groups that organize hiking/camping/day-trips in Cyprus - E4 and Couch-surfers, but I believe they are only for above 18. I would suggest of searching with local groups according to your interests, observe them a bit and then you may join.

that's where I was born! haha. I recently started crocheting, which I find fun if you want to work with your hands. Or you could do cooking. Doing "bento boxes" (boxed meals) can be fun if you want to put that much work into it. You can do jewlery, soap making, stitching, embroidery (which can get very detailed and cool, especially the 3D stuff) pottery or working with clay. Maybe if you don't like guitar you can try bass? I find it a little cooler than guitar, cuz it brings the guitar and drums together in songs(: Or you can learn a new language, like French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean.

Ok. well im not quite sure where Cyprus is and whatcha have around you, but regarding the cooking and that kind of thing i know that some High Schools offer cooking classes for not too much money at night... some basic and some more like specifics (ex. making cakes with fondant)

And im not sure if all supermarkets have this option, but i know that Kings Supermarket have certain stores that hold one nite cooking classes on a specific topic as well.. you can pick which one you want to take, and keep taking different ones. and with that, there are people, so you CAN make friends, but it's not a must, you can obviously still make it thru the class alone.

How about trying snowboarding since the colder weather is coming?

Maybe you can look up online a painting class, or find out if your parents would let you repaint you repaint your bedroom during the winter, and you can paint cool murals in your room.

Hmmm... and do you like music. Cuz i used to mix the two. I would pick my favorite cd covers or print them off online, and paint the cd covers of my favorite bands and stuff on my walls... with some of the lyrics of my favorites of their songs.

ok. thats all i got for now

    good luck with everything
