Why do I only feel full after eating junk food?

I'm supposed to be cutting down on sugary foods (mostly because my dentist said it would help my teeth) so that I feel healthier and stop before I get overweight. (Not that I am, just until its too late)

But when I eat healthy food, I never feel full. It feels as if I haven't eaten at all. But when I'm eating junk food, I feel full. Plus, on top of that I'm a very picky eater when it comes to healthy foods and I know that I should just eat it and stop worrying about the taste all the time...

Could someone help? Is there something wrong or is it just normal to not feel full when eating healthy?

(I am in my average weight range for my age by the way)

No it is not normal not to feel full when you have eaten a healthy dinner. It is all about the quantity and your picky eating could mean you are omitting foods you should really be eating.

You are the best one to help yourself, and eat the right foods.

You are old enough to know the food pyramid and what to eat a little and what to eat a lot.

junk nutrition is an addiction like another. only attempt to diminish back and don;t get upset with your self once you do eat junk. attempt to do different issues once you crave junk nutrition--like going outdoors for a walk.

Junk food is more greasy and oily that is why generraly it is bad for you and because you get full so fast you do not get the nutrients you need
