700 r4 won't shift to o/d. Any ideas.?

91 k2500, shifts good through all gears, but won't go into overdrive. Hit me back with your wisdom.

    dirty transmission governor. Remove clean and reinstall. Should shift ok from there.

    is engine getting to normal temp
