If captive bought than definitly a tegu. Tegus are like dogs in the reptile world. They can wander your house if you let them and can even get to recognize who you are. They are Omnivors and can eat anything like ground turkey, eggs, live mice. If I had the resources I would give up my bed and sleep on the floor in a sleepingbag so that my tegu cage would have more room.
