which is better the alienware x51 or the macbook pro 13"?
I am looking for a PC that is good for general use, gaming and school work but I'm not sure which one would be best.

I don't know much about the alienware x51, but if you want to do a lot of gaming, the Macbook pro won't work for you

I had the macbook pro 13" and I'm actually selling it tomorrow and getting an alienware x51, for gaming, its depending on how and what you want to play. If you want record, NO, if you want to play next-gen games NO, its only OK for games like: minecraft (30 fps max) call of duty 4 (60 fps max) and league of legends (40 fps max)
However, for just browsing the internet and for word, its pretty decent.
The alienware x51 is really good for gaming! you can get around 100 fps with playing minecraft, and 60 fps on black ops II WHILE RECORDING!
