can i establish residency in Wyoming to get in-state tuition by starting a sole proprietorship.?

Ok so i really like UWYO and it is reasonably priced for out of state but, instate in irresistible haha. One downside is that they require first year students to live on campus which does not aid the process of establishing residency. I have a truck and i was thinking i could start courier service and get a sole proprietorship business licenses (and of course planning on operating a successful business). could this help me gain residency?

    LOL Nope will not matter.

    residency is living there, changing

    licenses, registration, voter registration

    for a year to 2.

As for courier business , u need money

for commercial licenses, bonding, insurances $$.

    then Advertising b4 u make a buck.

most 'couriers' do not make a profit really.

move to WY , get a job, live there.

when u get residency, attend community

college for the Bovine manure classes

1st 2 yrs. then transfer to state school.

no first year residency then ;-).

    good knowledge is good luck.

If you're a "dependent" for FAFSA functions, and your mother and father reside in California, how do you qualify for Florida in-state lessons rates? Did your dad and mom only in the near past (within the previous 12 months) move there? Let's hope you are no longer committing fraud towards Florida.

Well, other than the snafu regarding the fact that it's pretty much impossible to apply for residency in any state while you're a student - the other problem would be that IF you could, states have rules in place which say you also must be able to prove the ability to pay all your academic related expenses out of pocket (show banking records and proof of have available funds, and not use parent's money or student loans or funds from your business to fund your endeavors).
