    y2 - y1 / x2 - x1......(a,a^2)(2b,4b^2)

    4b^2 - a^2 / 2b - a

    (2b - a)(2b + a) / 2b- a

    Cancel out both 2b - a

    2b + a (or a + 2b in alphabetical order)

    The gradient or the slope of the line PQ is (4b^2- a^2)/(2b-a)=4b+a

    Then the line can be given by the equation y=(4b+a)x+ c where c is a constant.

    as y(a)= a^2= (4b+a)a+c

    c=a^2-4ab+a^2= (a-b)^2

    The line can therefore be presented like this: y=(4b+a)x + (a-b)^2
