I want to purchase a generator that will run my lg fridge gn422fw and lights...?

In case we lose power for more than just an hour or two in storm season

This question is more for an Electrician. According to "LG", this fridge has a 506kw PA power usage.

The generator I'm looking at has 3 x 240 outlets at a maximum of 900w per hour each outlet.

It seems to me that the generator should cope with the continual running without too much trouble, but I don't want to buy the generator if it can't do the job

=== your decision must be based on the equipment that is available in your area === the best of brands are going to be Honda and Poulan and Sears carries many good tools and machines that will serve you very well [[ trust the sales people at Sears to advise, explain, and provide the best info AND they will give you that info and not push the sale ]] == I think the hardware giants [ Lowe's etc.] do not understand all the info that you seek as they have the stuff on the shelf and can point out where to find but, do not understand the pros&cons of all particular machines == you may want to rely on the net sites at the manufactures descriptions of the generators to give you detail of those gen's that you see in varied srtore and your own shopping and fact finding .... a max power wattage like you are talking about will be expensive AND you must have an outside shut off just below the meter to be safe and not cross power the electric provider with your connected generator ....
