Whelping driving me nuts?

I have a medium size bullterrier boxer x and she is due any day now, her temp has been 99.3-99.7 for 48 hours and her belly has dropped, her boobs are filling up(have been for over a week) the pups are still able to be felt moving, so I know they are ok, we thought we had her dates right, and calculated the 17th but seem to have goofed and never wrote the service date down.... She isn't pacing, but has been clingy for days, this is her third and final litter at 6 yo. Any help regarding a better indicator of whelping imminence??? Ps she's eating and has had a clear stringy vaginal discharge when weeing for a few days, no offensive odour

Update:

My MUTT has been bred after expressions of interest showed that ample buyers were looking for a HUNTING dog of her breeding, just as happened with the previous litters, i have included all information i thought pertinent, and am well aware of the signs of labour, just looking for personal experience, NOT abuse. How is my dog any more a mutt than the shitzu x Maltese x pom whatever useless fluff-balls being bred??? Designer dogs that are often dumped once the owner no longer deems them cute after they outgrow the puppy fluff! I have gone back through my notes and found the date of breeding to be the 22nd sep, therefore her temp drop is seemingly early. I Have had her to the vet who simply said he saw no danger in continuing to wait as opposed to a c section which may kill pups, esp since the dating is questionable, but the vet too is concerned over the low temp. SO if you continue to berate me and abuse me i will continue to report you

Um, yes, it must have drove you nuts. That can be the only possible reason for you to breed THREE mutt litters. At first, when you stated that you never wrote down the *service* date, I was going to go tell you to read your stud contract. Well, there is no contract as MUTT/BACK YARD BREEDERS don't do contracts! So, if you think you're going to get much help here......hang onto your hat. The shyte should be flying soon! You're probably going to wish you never posted this question. Trust me.

I suspect that you are also driving your poor defenseless female nuts.

Guess what caring dogs owners are calling you.

If you have done this before & everything went well, why do you suspect a problem now?

Maybe your frame of mind is affecting her & she needs you to calm down & stop fretting. Back off a bit & let her & you relax a little. You know how it went before & all went well, right? Let time take it's course.

Take a break, have a drink, a doobie, a cup of coffee or just breath deep. Relax.

You've gone through this twice before and you have no resources or knowledge of the onset of whelping other than the temperature? Really? It will happen soon enough.

She should stop eating and have diarrhoea to empty her digestive tract. Has her faeces become soft? that maybe an indicator you should be looking for.

and to rosalie... could i say that curtailing the rights of all livinng females to have offspring would only be justified if you actually had yourself spade prior to having children of your own and hopefully you haven't yet had any children and their is still time to increase the average IQ of the human race

And your idea of help is to get on the open internet?

Call the vet, if you have questions. You should have just had her spayed.

Excellent question for your vet or, better yet, breeding mentor.
